SDW: Alfriston to Eastbourne

  

The final leg. We walked into Alfriston for a lovely coffee before setting off. By some miracle, we emerged from the path right by Elizabeth’s car. More fab weather. Actually quite hot at times, and we needed our suncream.

I’ve now completed the SDW apart from about 3 miles between Upper Beeding and Devil’s Dyke, as Elizabeth wasn’t confident to walk the whole lot (while testing out heavy packs etc). Can easily be done next time I visit Jude.
